Motorist faced heavy delays on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11 - from Al Nahda street towards Dubai.
Heavy traffic has been reported on the UAE's roads on Wednesday morning, with multiple accidents causing congestion in Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter at 7.36am to report an accident on on Meena Street after Exit from Sheikh Zayed Tunnel towards Zayed Port - 3. The incident caused heavy delays and snarls, which was cleared at 8.02am.

An accident on E20 after Khalifa City Bridge - IB. Three right lanes have been blocked so look for alternative routes.

Another accident was also reported near Heritage Park causing delays for motorists heading out of the city.
Motorist also faced heavy delays on E10 road from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street on the Eastern Mangrove underpass heading towards the city.
In Dubai, traffic snarls affected drivers on Al Awir road from Al Warqa, the Ras Al Khor Industrial Area, and on the Dubai-Al Ain Road.
Tailbacks were reported with heavy congestion on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the National Paints roundabout in Sharjah to Dubai. Delays were also observed on Sheikh Zayed Road's E11 - from Al Nahda street towards Dubai.
Motorists are advised to drive safely and take alternative routes wherever possible.
